This morning I met up with another lady that is leaving on Sunday to go to Ukraine and get her daughter.  Her new daughter is one of Albina's best friends.  I am so happy that Albina will have a good friend living nearby.  I think it will make the transition so much easier if she has access to her friends from the orphanage.  I mean, those kids have become like family, so I want them to be able to maintain their relationships with their current "family".  Because of the hosting program that we met our kids through, it gives us a unique opportunity to gain support from others that have gone or are going through the same process we are currently going through.  In addition, it gives us a way to send gifts more easily and receive pictures/video/communication from our kids.  I am so grateful that I'm able to connect with such amazing individuals through this program.  And I'm anxious to be an instrument in helping other adoptive parents connect with their kids while they are waiting to actually make the trek to Ukraine.

Every day I feel more and more ready to go and get my kids.
I feel more and more confident that things are going to work out.
I feel more and more convinced that these kids are meant to be mine and they will be, SOON!

There have been many, many times that I've felt fear.

• Fear that we wouldn't be able to come up with enough money.

• Fear that our kids would change their mind.

• Fear that the Ukrainian government would determine that our kids would be better off on the street than with me as their mother.

Silly fears.
But fears none-the-less.

I'm grateful that I've been blessed with complete calm and peace lately.
I don't have many fears right now.
I simply feel anxious to go see my kids and excited to bring them home for FOREVER.
