Scrambled Eggs

Yesterday Micah was sick.  He was achy and sad and throwing up all day.  I tried to help him get through his schoolwork, but we only got through part of his daily assignment.  He asked me, "If I wasn't home schooled and I was sick, would you still make me do schoolwork?"  I let him go take a nap.  Then when he woke up still feeling awful, I helped him take a warm bath and gave him some medicine in hopes that it would help him get a good night sleep.

This morning he woke up extra chipper and energetic.  I asked if he was feeling better and he said that he didn't feel sick at all.  When I told him it was time to do school work he tried to tell me that I had misunderstood his earlier answer and that he still felt a little sick.  But I knew better.

Unfortunately, I'm just not in the mood to push it today.  I am in the mood to lay around the house in my sweats and do absolutely nothing.  It's not going to happen, but I've certainly made an effort to do nothing.  (Why does it actually take work and effort for a mom to do absolutely nothing?  That's weird, right?)

While making breakfast, Micah asked if he could scramble his own eggs.  I thought that sounded like a splendid idea.  Here are his results:

Micah's first-time scrambled egg!

Micah excited to eat his own scrambled egg.  Made all by himself!

Guess what job he is going to have from now on?
I hope Maks likes scrambled eggs.  :-)

All right... back to this post that should be about our adoption adventure, but it isn't.
I just can't think of anything to say that I haven't already said a number of times.

So instead, here is today's message:
GO VOTE.

Then, tomorrow, after all the results are in, I will reveal the next fundraiser.
It's simple.

If Obama wins the election I will reveal what is under the following blue highlighted area:

DON'T CHEAT :-)

And if Romney wins the election I will reveal what is under the following red highlighted area:

DON'T CHEAT :-)

Two separate fundraisers, one of which will be revealed tomorrow when we know the outcome of this Presidential Race.
